Sadaqah jariyah is charity that continues to benefit people long-term and continues to earn the giver rewards even after death.

On the authority of Abu Huraira (RA) that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said. ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: either Sadaqah Jariya (a continuous charity), knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Sahih Muslim)
